About the series
Session 4: Borders and Benchmarks – Unearthing Immigration and Court Records
Discover the journeys your ancestors took—and the legal footprints they left behind. This session will explore a range of immigration records such as passenger lists, naturalization documents, and border crossing records that can help you trace when and how your family arrived in the U.S. We’ll also examine court records that reveal everything from land disputes to guardianships and name changes. Learn where to find these documents, how to interpret them, and how they can fill in important gaps in your genealogy research.
Registration Reminder:
Each session has its own registration unless you select the "Attend All Sessions" ticket below. If you plan to attend only some sessions, please register for each one individually by visiting its event page.
